NCFD is looking for committed people to join our ranks and proudly serve in the Volunteer Fire Service.

Applicants must: Be a resident of the New City Fire District for 1 year,

or a property owner and resident for 3 months preceding the date of application. AND
Be at least age 18.

Applicants between ages 16 and 18 can join as a junior member.

Spring Safety Tips:

» When plugging in electric heaters, make sure that the outlet was designed to handle the load. Be safe; do not plug anything else into the socket with the heater.

» Turn off all lights when you go to bed or leave the house.

» Develop an escape plan with two ways out from each room, then practice it regularly.
